Dr. med. dent. Octavian Fagaras – Certified Expert in Oral Implantology

Dr. Octavian Fagaras is a global professional with a diverse cultural and academic background. Born in Bucharest in 1960, he moved to Germany at the age of eight, settling in a region 90 kilometers from Nuremberg.

Driven by a lifelong passion for science, technology, and a natural, inquisitive nature, Dr. Fagaras began his academic journey studying Physics at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg, Germany. He later pursued Medicine at the G. d’Annunzio University in Chieti, Italy, and ultimately completed his formal training in Dentistry, earning his Doctorate (PhD/DDS) in Frankfurt, Germany.

Thirty-five years later, in 2005, a casual visit to Romania changed his life unexpectedly. Encouraged by Dr. Wolfgang Haase—owner and publisher of Quintessenz Verlag in Berlin, the world’s largest dental publishing house—who told him, “If you have the courage, do it!”, Dr. Fagaras decided to launch the first international dental publication in Romania, Quintessence International Romania.
