Dr. Ermal Pashaj, PhD – Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Ermal Pashaj graduated with the highest honors from the Faculty of Medicine at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel,” completing both the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics program and the Medicine and Surgery program. He further pursued his specialization in Maxillofacial Surgery at the Department of Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center, where he graduated with the highest distinction.

Dr. Pashaj earned the title of “Doctor of Medical Sciences” (PhD) from the University of Tor Vergata, Rome, in MIMIT (Organ Transplants and Related Diseases), with a doctoral thesis titled: “Presence of HERVs in Head and Neck Tumors, and their modulated expression by drugs.”

Currently, Dr. Pashaj is a member of the Department of Surgical Sciences at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel.” He serves as a lecturer for Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and acts as a clinical tutor for students. His significant contributions to the field have led to the initiation of several clinical trials in head and neck oncology in Albania.
